PCCHE Intro to Drama Class
Ready to step into the spotlight? Our Intro to Drama class is the perfect place to begin!
Offered each fall semester, this class is a prerequisite for joining Drama Club and is designed for students ages 11 and up. It’s a fun, low-pressure way for students to explore theater, build confidence, and discover their creativity.
Students will learn the fundamentals of drama, including stage directions, stage presence, and performing dialogue. Through interactive games, skits, and short plays, they’ll gain hands-on experience—all while having a great time and making new friends.
The semester wraps up with a short performance for parents and families, giving students a chance to shine and show off what they’ve learned!
Students who turn 12 by the start of our spring Drama Club semester in January are welcome to join Drama Club at that time. Otherwise, they can jump in the following fall once they meet the age requirement.
Whether your child is curious about acting or already loves the stage, this class is a great way to try it out—no long-term commitment required!
