SUMMARY:Norma's Playhouse Fun Day!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a morning of fun at Norma’s Playhouse in Mineral Wells! There are slides and bounce houses and games and so much more! The Playhouse is designed and geared mostly towards kiddos up to 12 years old\, but the teens also have a blast with the Wii system\, air hockey table\, Nerf guns\, and the adult-sized bounce house! You may bring your own snacks and drinks\, and a food truck will be out in the back selling lunch. Our event is on a Wednesday\, which is their private rental day\, so PCCHE will have the place to ourselves for our 2 hour slot. They clean and Lysol all of the equipment daily\, and also clean and Lysol between each private party on Tuesdays. No masks are required for this event. Cost is $15/child and $10/each additional sibling. Each family will be responsible for paying Norma’s Playhouse on the day of the event. Don’t forget your socks! DESCRIPTION:Please join us as PCCHE offers a Homeschooling 101 Class\, not just for our own membership\, but for the rest of the community as well. We will be having several different speakers discuss their own homeschooling journeys\, as well as the methods that do and do not work for their families. We will also have a Q & A time and discussions on various topics that may interest prospective and current home educating families. This will be a laid-back\, informal meeting for new homeschooling parents\, as well as for seasoned ones with many years experience. Let’s come together to encourage one another along in our homeschooling journeys\, no matter how far down the path we may be. Please invite your friends and family who may be considering homeschooling\, and even those who already are…this is sure to be a blessing for all who attend! Childcare will not be provided\, so if you bring your children\, they will need to sit with you during the duration of the class. We are not going to “potluck” for this event. No glass containers.\nThere is no cost to our members\, but please RSVP quickly as space is limited. If you RSVP and then realize your family won’t be able to come\, please let us know.\nThere will be city lifeguards on duty.\nOut of respect for others\, we ask that you dress modestly. Ladies\, please wear a one piece swim suit or cover\, and gentlemen swimmers will need to have a shirt on\, and please leave your speedos at home!
