There is a self-guided\, walk-through\, Bible-themed statue garden decorated with Christmas lights; a tour through the first century Bethlehem village and a search for the newborn King; and a walk down Candy Cane Lane\, where singers and dancers give the Gospel of Christ through the story of the candy cane. Ticket prices are $29.95 for Adults; $24.95 for Children 3-11 and seniors 62 and up; 2 and under are free. There is food available for purchase\, or you may pack a picnic and sit at the picnic tables outdoors.

DESCRIPTION:Before the millions of shoebox gifts collected each year can bring hope and joy to children around the world\, each one has to be carefully inspected and made ready for international shipment by volunteers like you. Tens of thousands of volunteers serve annually at eight shoebox processing centers across the United States.\nWe will need to arrive 30 minutes before check-in to watch a training video. Meeting location to drop off your teen/teens will be in the Weatherford Lowe’s parking lot.\nVolunteers MUST be at least 13 years old. This is a strict requirement and parents must fill out a permission slip. Please RSVP with the names of everyone in your family who would like to participate (please include ages of participating children and your email address so that the minor consent can be sent to you). DESCRIPTION:How To JOIN:\nMembers register to participate by commenting in the event with the name/names of presenters and their chosen historical figure/s. Participants may enter this fair either as individuals or as family units. The historical figure MUST be listed to avoid multiples! All ages may participate!\nWhat To Do:\nParticipants will 1) Study their chosen person from history over the next few months 2) Come dressed as their character and ready to personify their character while at the fair 3) Be prepared to answer questions from passersby about their character as well as present facts about his/her life from the perspective of the character and\n4) Prepare a trifold poster board that will highlight their character’s life and the time in which he/she lived.\nWhat To Expect:\nParticipants will be assigned table space to set up their poster board and any other display materials they would like to use. While at the fair\, participants will stand by their display and engage spectators. This event will be made public so that individuals\, such as friends and Grandparents\, may attend and act as an audience. DESCRIPTION:Save the Dates! More details and exact appointment times to come…\nIt’s school portrait time! Sue Wells Photography will be taking our portraits again this year. She is always so great to work with – so patient with the kids! She offers many different packages that are all reasonably priced. There is also the option to have the portraits sent over to the yearbook coordinator if you would like your child’s picture in the yearbook. I will soon have appointment sheets for scheduling\, so be looking for my update for when you may call or text me at 817 988-7817 to schedule your appointment. Just a heads up: Sue will not be wearing a mask\, as it is too difficult for her to work and wear it all day.
