DESCRIPTION:This is a free program!\nA trained instructor\, Todd griffin\, will be returning to demonstrate how to milk a cow\, describe how milk goes from the farm to the consumer\, and then answer questions from our student audience. This is an innovative program that brings the dairy experience directly to children. At schools\, students and teachers share an experience that includes math\, science\, health (nutrition)\, and agriculture\, all presented in an outdoor classroom format. The presentation lasts about 45 minutes and will take place directly after co-op ends in the front parking lot.

Ticket prices are $29.95 for Adults; $24.95 for Children 3-11 and seniors 62 and up; 2 and under are free. DESCRIPTION:Before the millions of shoebox gifts collected each year can bring hope and joy to children around the world\, each one has to be carefully inspected and made ready for international shipment by volunteers like you. Tens of thousands of volunteers serve annually at eight shoebox processing centers across the United States.\nWe will need to arrive 30 minutes before check-in to watch a training video. Meeting location to drop off your teen/teens will be in the Weatherford Lowe’s parking lot.\nVolunteers MUST be at least 13 years old. This is a strict requirement and parents must fill out a permission slip. Please RSVP with the names of everyone in your family who would like to participate (please include ages of participating children and your email address so that the minor consent can be sent to you). DESCRIPTION:How To JOIN:\nMembers register to participate by commenting in the event with the name/names of presenters and their chosen historical figure/s. Participants may enter this fair either as individuals or as family units. The historical figure MUST be listed to avoid multiples! All ages may participate!\nWhat To Do:\nParticipants will 1) Study their chosen person from history over the next few months 2) Come dressed as their character and ready to personify their character while at the fair 3) Be prepared to answer questions from passersby about their character as well as present facts about his/her life from the perspective of the character and\n4) Prepare a trifold poster board that will highlight their character’s life and the time in which he/she lived.\nWhat To Expect:\nParticipants will be assigned table space to set up their poster board and any other display materials they would like to use. While at the fair\, participants will stand by their display and engage spectators. This event will be made public so that individuals\, such as friends and Grandparents\, may attend and act as an audience. We are looking for creative teens to take pictures at events\, sort\, label\, and transfer pictures\, and create pages for the 2021/2022 yearbook. If you think you may be interested in participating\, come join us. The meeting will be held after coop in E3 at Spring Creek Baptist Church.
