SUMMARY:PCCHE’s 3rd Annual Living History Fair
DESCRIPTION:Location: Spring Creek Baptist Church\nHow To Participate:\nMembers register to participate by commenting in the event with the name/names of presenters and their chosen historical figure/s. Participants may enter this fair either as individuals or as a family unit. The historical figure MUST be listed to avoid multiples. If a historical figure has already been chosen\, please choose another. All ages may participate!\nWhat To Do:\nParticipants will 1) Study their chosen person from history over the next few moths 2) Come dressed as their historical figure and ready to personify their character while at the fair 3) Be prepared to answer questions from passersby about their character as well as present facts about her/her life from the perspective of the character and 4) Prepare a tri fold poster board that will highlight their characters life and the time in which he/she lived. 5) Finally\, participants need to submit ONE interesting fact about their character to coopdirector@pcche.org which will be included in the scavenger hunt. I need this interesting fact one week prior to the event.\nWhat To Expect:\nParticipants will be assigned table space to set up their poster board and any other display materials they would like to use. While at the fair\, participants will stand by their display and engage spectators. This is an OPEN PCCHE event meaning friends and grandparents are welcome to attend to act as an audience. When the event is over\, each family is responsible for cleaning up their display.\nWe hope you can come but if participating isn’t your thing please consider attending to learn and show support to our PCCHE families! Children are invited to do the scavenger hunt and turn it in for a prize!Check out our past living history fairs under the events tab for pictures and video of our kids in action!
